ArCoNet & BAPNE

Since 2014, ArCoNet has stablished a partnership with the BAPNE method. This internationally recognized method, created by Dr. Javier Romero, is based on the use of body percussion and rhythms to stimulate cognitive functions in order to develop multiple intelligences and improve abilities in processes such as attention, concentration, memory, brain lateralization and body dissociation. The methodology also provides resources and tools for people with special educational needs with specific conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, alzheimers, parkinson, brain damage, cognitive impairment, among others.

The word BAPNE is an acronym formed of the words:
Biomechanics, Anatomy, Psychology, Neuroscience and Ethnomusicology. By combining all these disciplines, Dr. Romero created exercises that are focused on developing the Multiple Intelligences through teaching body percussion.

ArCoNet will join a prominent network of partners and will leverage the BAPNE method and Philosophy in the United States territory. “We are thrilled to welcome ArCoNet as a new partner, this Organization’s holistic approach to music learning and community development will expands the organization offering and academic curricula,” said Javier Romero, creator and head of the BAPNE worldwide network.
